WORLD FESTIVAL 2020 POSTPONED

The Board of the Rochester International Association has decided to postpone its World Festival, scheduled to take place on April 18, until a date in September 2020, to be confirmed.
In light of the concerns around the Coronavirus and taking into consideration the health and well-being of our participants and our attendees, the Board made the early decision to postpone the event.
We will be in contact with all those who have registered as food vendors and performers, for cultural and organizational displays and children’s activities, as marketplace vendors and as volunteers.
We will also be in touch with our sponsors and donors.
Given the nature of World Festival, how we encourage conversation and interaction, we feel this is the right decision under the circumstances.
We thank you for your understanding and we look forward to seeing you in September!

The 2020 World Festival, the 45th annual running of the event, will take place at Mayo High School,  1420 11th St SE, Rochester, MN 55904, on Saturday April 18th 2019 from 10 am to 3 pm.

All events will take place in the foyer, gymnasium and cafeteria areas of the school. We hope to have a number of new attractions this year, as well as familiar favorites such as our cultural displays, performances, marketplace and, of course, food!!

Thanks to our sponsors general admission to World Festival is FREE! Food tickets will once again be priced at $0.50 and sample plates will be available from our food vendors with a ticket value.

Our Marketplace vendors will be selling goods with ethnic origins and influence, so make sure you stop by to make some purchases too!!

All our cultural and organization display booths, performances and children’s activities will take place in the school gymnasium and we expect a full and busy performance schedule.
